Theatre has always been something I have thoroughly enjoyed. I remember my mother taking me to the pantomimes when I was a child. I used to really enjoy them and as I have grown, so has my love of theatre. There is something about the intimacy of the theatre, watching people perform live on stage, where everything has to be flawless and where they stand or fall on the talent they possess. More than films, theatre has the ability to make the hair stand up on the back of my neck. I love to see a group of people singing and dancing in perfect unison, looking at the lavish sets and costumes and feeling the raw energy of the performers. I love feel-good theatre and to indulge in pure escapism which always results in a huge smile on my face.
